In 2004, Europlanet was the first IT company to get the official license (3353/12-02-04) of E.E.T.T. (National Telecommunications and Posts Commission) and became a registrar of internet names with the ending .gr meeting all the initial strict specifications regarding the physical headquarters, active IT equipment, human resources, electronic organization and customer management, as well as the specifications for the maintenance of the .gr Registry and the safeguarding of personal data.
